“There’s no place like home”....... Home is where the balance can be found for you and for your pet’s care.....that is where the best balance is for your pet. Balance is key for your pet’s physical and emotional stability. That is why my goal is to care for pets in their home environment – familiar surroundings, noises, routine...all these things are all more comforting for your pet. This is true particularly for many “rescue” pets, elderly pets and pets with compromised health for various reasons. Your goal and mine is to keep a balance of life – balance between your everyday life and schedules and your pet’s life and care.
Pets are family members and it is important to have peace of mind regarding the care of your pets in your absence. While there are many reputable kennels which serve their purpose, some pets are simply more comfortable in their own surroundings. Your pet is most “balanced” in the home environment – that is the basis of my care, walks and training.

Although there are exceptions in case of emergency, a reputable pet sitter should always be willing to meet with the owner and pet prior to any visits to obtain all pertinent information about the pet(s) and care. At this time, the interaction between pet sitter and pet should be noted. It may be adviseable to schedule a trial day to see if the pet sitter meets with expectations and the proceed with contracted services.
